What is a Security Awareness Program?
An employee security awareness program is an ongoing effort to communicate cybersecurity best practices to employees with the goal of changing risky behavior. Ideally, such a program takes a holistic approach that involves information, processes and procedures, and people to create an organizational culture that can effectively protect against changing security threats.
The goal is to create a risk-aware culture where all employees are constantly vigilant and continuously learning to protect the information that flows throughout the organization from ever-changing security threats.
